I've been lucky enough to have played gigs with the likes of Karine Polwart, The Beautiful South, Seasick Steve, Ian McNabb, The Coal Porters, Angus & Julia Stone and Francis Macdonald. From the Sidewalk Cafe in New York to Celtic Connections, T on The Fringe to Barrowlands and King Tuts.
CIRCA 1985, was featured in a major BBC drama, The Escape Artist, starring David Tennant. Under A Spielberg Moon was a winning entry in the prestigious Burnsong International Songwriting Competition, which culminated in a showcase concert at The Scottish Parliament .

WRITING
I’ve had two short film scripts produced - Chair To Rent and A Fate Worse Than Death, which was a finalist in the Shooting People Film of the Month competition.
I was a winner of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival Ghost Story competition and ashort script, Replenished, got through to the semi final stage of the International Bluecat Screenplay Competition. I was also a finalist in the UK Film Festival Script Competition and my play, A Right Good Menage, was a finalist in the Channel 4/Oran Mor Comedy Drama Award.

A multi-award winning copywriter, iIve worked in major Scottish/UK advertising agencies and global network agencies for 20 years. Creating multiple award winning campaigns for household name brands, including NSPCC, Tennent’s, Glenmorangie, Magners, Shelter, Heinz and The Co-op.
